I saw that game and Brett would have killed that umpire and Billy Martin as well if he had the chance. It certainly made no sense to us since pine tar is sticky and unlikely that Brett would have hit a homer if it really had all that pine tar on it.
I am in love with this illustration. I also love your illustrations of Goose Gossage and Don Mattingly, since I am a huge Yankee fan. Incredible. Keep up the great work.
